Fake Bake Spray Tan
The ultimate treat in self tanning, this revolutionary treatment offers a safe, sunless tan.  Fake Bake Spray Tan is a tanning treatment which is applied to the skin by spraying the body with a fine mist by a qualified Therapist.

When the treatment is complete you have instant colour and your skin feels dry with a pleasant, fresh fragrance.  Whilst the tan is developing you have a guide colour present that gives you a golden glow.  The tan takes approximately 6-8 hours to develop and will last up around 5 - 7 days.  Fake Bake reacts with your own body chemistry, you will be left with a natural golden glow.

This treatment is perfect for a special party function, brides and bridesmaids as well as a pre-holiday treatment.  It can be applied in your lunch hour and is suitable for men and women.

Pre Treatment Tips and Tricks
- No other tanning products to be used 5 days before treatment.  Prepare the skin at least 12 hours before by exfoliating and moisturising, and keep the skin free from body lotions, deodorants, or perfumes.
- Waxing and shaving should be completed at least 24 hours beforehand.
- Wear dark loose clothing and dark underwear if possible.  Flip flops or loose fitting shoes are preferable.  Please not that the guide colour will rub off on light clothing.

After Treatment Tips and Tricks
- Do not have any contact with water for at least 8 hours
- Tan will develop within 8 hours, leave overnight if possible.
- Avoid activity which may cause perspiration for 12 hours.
- Avoid other beauty products and treatment until tan has developed and avoid touching the skin during
 development period.
- When showering the guide colour will be rinsed away to reveal a stunning natural looking tan.
 

Frequently Asked Questions...

Is Fake Bake safe to use in pregnancy?
Fake Bake only comes in to contact with the upper most layers of the epidermis (skin) and does not penetrate into the blood stream whatsoever, therefore, yes it is safe to use during pregnancy. However we would also have you take note, that you should perform a patch test to check for sensitivity as when you are pregnant, your hair and skin may not behave the way it used to and you may find that you are sensitive to products you used when you were not pregnant.

How long does Fake Bake last?
Fake Bake boast that their product needs to be applied on the average of only once or twice a week. Of course, you will determine your own maintenance schedule. Remember, you are in control, you can deepen your tan simply by applying more coats of the product.

Will Fake Bake come off on my clothes?
When you come for your spray tan you should wear dark loose clothing, whilst you have the colour guide on this can come off on your clothing and bed covers, however this does wash out. 
We would recommend you take care when wearing anything light coloured (especially wedding/prom dresses), even after you have washed the colour guide off as you may still experience some colour rubbing onto clothes, mainly under the arm area due to constant arm movements. 

Can I use Fake Bake in the sun or with sunbeds?
In our marketing research we discovered that the use of our product with the sun or with a sun bed actually accelerates the tanning process. Stimulating the dark pigment of the skin, known as Melanin, accelerates any form of sun tanning. Those who wish to combine our product with an additional sun tanning regimen will see quicker and more satisfying results than ever before. For this reason, many Suntan Salons carry our products to use with sun beds as a Melanin Accelerator to promote tanning. Our product is also ideal for those who cover their face during tanning or who have trouble tanning the sides of their bodies or other problem areas. 

Does Fake Bake contain sunscreens or SPF?
Our laboratory specialists recommended that we did not add any of the above to our product. So many of our customers want different degrees of sunscreens or sun blocks that it would be impossible to satisfy all of them. We recommend that you use the sunscreen best suited to your skin type.

Does Fake Bake use animal testing?
No. We use no animal testing because our product contains no harmful ingredients that would have required extensive animal testing.
